BIAKOYE DISTRICT BENEFITS FROM PLANTING FOR FOOD AND JOBS PROGRAM PHASE II

Today at 8am, the District Chief Executive will join the Acting Director of the Biakoye District Agric Department, Rev. Harrison Adorblosu, to distribute farm inputs to registered farmers under the Planting for Food and Jobs Program Phase II.

In the district, Biakoye, 1,152 out of the nationwide 200,000 registered farmers will receive fertilizers and maize seeds. This continuation of the NPP-led government’s policy demonstrates a commitment to supporting and sustaining farming, ensuring food security for farmers and their families.

The program also aims to create jobs and promote food security in communities. The list of beneficiaries was provided by the Honourable Minister of Food and Agriculture, not generated by the Biakoye District Dept of Agric.
