This morning starting at 08:00 hours, the contracted KING SOLOMON & GEORGE COMPANY LTD., commenced work on the Nkonya Akloba – Ahundwo stretch of road. The road which covers an area of 1.8km have two heavy duty equipments on it; a bulldozer and a grader. A portion of the road is rocky hence the dozer work in addition to the grader works. Works will last for two days.
Nkonya Tayi
Last Sunday, work started on the Tayi stretch from the Nkonya Secondary School Junction and ended in Tayi Township. The size reshaped was 1.4km. The reshaping got completed on Monday, 11th December 2023.
Both works were funded from the second quarter allocation of the District Assembly Common Fund.
