Today, a significant milestone was achieved in the Biakoye District as Hon. Millicent Kabuki Carboo, the District Chief Executive, signed an agreement on behalf of the District with RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT. The agreement grants RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT the authority to collect revenue at the Abotoase Market.
The agreement is structured in three phases, and in the initial phase, RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT will be responsible for revenue collection for one month, starting from 1st August to 31st August 2023. During this period, the company will be the official revenue collector for all transactions at the market.
The subsequent phases will see RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT take on a more extensive role, as they will be contracted to manage the market and collect revenues from all the spaces covering the market, the Lorry Station, and its surrounding areas, extending all the way to the Abotoase Roundabout.
Mr. Theophiuchus Dzidzienyo, the CEO of RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT, was present during the signing and is set to lead the company in executing their responsibilities as per the agreement. Mr. Frank Foli, a director, was present as a witness to the signing.
The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Abdul-Aziz Jafaru, also witnessed the agreement on behalf of the Assembly, showcasing the collaborative efforts involved in this significant partnership.
This agreement marks a crucial step towards enhancing revenue collection efficiency and management at the Abotoase Market, and it is expected to bring positive changes and benefits to both the Biakoye District and RIVIERA WORLD CONSULT.
