Today, the DCE called on the Sariki, Gabiba Umor, the deputy Chief Imam, Malam Rauf Tanko, and elders of the Worawora Zongo community; the purpose of the visit was to commend them on a peaceful and well celebrated Eid Ul Adhar. As holders of the tenets of Islam, she humbly brought to their attention two of the key points of Islam, which are Obedience and Sacrifice. the DCE showed concern to the destruction of part of the roofing of the Mubarikiya Islamic Basic School and contributed her widow’s mite towards its repairs.
She donated a set of football jersey to the winning team and a football to the losing side of a football match played between Worawora Sabon Zongo and Zongo Football teams today. The game was in respect of the Eid celebrations.
