In the afternoon of the day, the DCE paid a visit to the Tapa Akaa Yaw No.2 District Assembly Primary School.
Receiving her to his outfit, the headmaster of the basic school, Mr. George Awumey said that the school lacks desks for the pupils, with the second being a band for the school’s use. She used the opportunity to encourage the pupils to be in school whenever it is time to do so.
The DCE promised to provide the school with the number of desks needed as the District Assembly has ordered some school desks through DPAT FUNDS for schools in the district. She also promised to get them a band soon.
