BIAKOYE DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE, HON. ERIC OPONG JOINS MUSLIMS IN TAPA ABOTOASE FOR JUMA PRAYERS

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Biakoye, Hon. Eric Opong on Friday the 6th of June, 2025 joined the Muslim community in Tapa Abotoase for their Juma prayers.

During his address, Hon. Opong urged the congregation to continue promoting peace and unity within the district. He called on them to support President Mahama’s reset agenda, emphasizing its importance to national development.

He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to improving infrastructure in the area, specifically promising the development of the Tapa Abotoase market and an upgrade of the district’s road network.

Touching on agriculture, the DCE assured the people of the government’s dedication to supporting farmers with essential inputs aimed at enhancing food security in the district.

Hon. Opong also encouraged the youth to take full advantage of government flagship initiatives such as the Adwumawura and the Apprenticeship Program, which are designed to equip them with skills to improve their livelihoods.

As part of his message, he advised the youth to celebrate responsibly and in moderation to prevent accidents and ensure community safety.
