Additionally, they raised concerns about low electricity voltage and requested the provision of an additional transformer to address the challenge.

The community further emphasized the need for the Assembly to engage and inform them when new projects are being awarded, so they can support implementation and foster mutual cooperation rather than confrontational relations.

The Assembly Member for the area added that measures should be adopted to address the high transportation costs within the area. Concerns were also raised regarding the construction of a polyclinic for the people of Bumbulla, Wurupong, and surrounding communities.

Ahumudwo Community:

He further indicated that processes have begun to address the issues of transportation costs, the provision of an additional transformer, and the installation of meters for newly constructed boreholes.

The Planning Officer also assured participants that all electricity-related issues raised would be examined. He indicated that the Ahenkro market issue would be reviewed. He further explained that before a polyclinic or any major project is constructed, certain processes must be followed, including assessing the population of the area and other relevant conditions, as government projects are targeted to address specific groups and needs.

The District Coordinating Director (DCD) appealed to chiefs and members present to exercise patience with the Assembly regarding past issues that may have negatively affected the image of the Biakoye District Assembly. He urged all stakeholders to let past issues remain in the past and focus on present and future development, emphasizing that collective cooperation is essential for the development of the Biakoye District.
