The department of Agriculture in the Biakoye District distributed coconut seedlings to 123 interested farmers at Kwamikrom.
The DCE, Honourable Millicent Kabuki Carboo in her address to the beneficiaries encouraged the farmers to take good care of the seedlings which in about three years will start bringing economic transformation to their lives.
The District crop Officer, Mr Charles Armstrong Kofi Ador train the farmers on seedling handling, lining and pegging, hole creation, planting of seedlings, termites control and various ways to control grass cutters.
The department is expecting another batch of seedlings next week.
